Merdot AI joins the NVIDIA Inception Program

Merdot Private Limited has been accepted into NVIDIA Inception, NVIDIA's programme for AI startups. For Merdot AI it means NVIDIA's compute, software and engineering support behind Merdot 1.0, our own model.

What NVIDIA Inception is

NVIDIA Inception is NVIDIA's global programme for startups building with AI. Members get NVIDIA's software and hardware at preferred pricing, cloud credits through NVIDIA's partners, training from the NVIDIA Deep Learning Institute, and technical guidance from NVIDIA's own engineers. NVIDIA takes no equity and sets no cohort.

Merdot applied on 10 September 2026 and was accepted the same day: a product that is already live on the web, iOS and Android, a model that is already ours, and a clear plan for what the compute lets us do next.

You can already talk to Merdot AI in four languages and hear it answer. NVIDIA's speech tools bring that voice closer to the model, so a shop owner asking out loud is not kept waiting.

Replies and briefs that stay sharp

Comment auto-reply, the morning brief and the standing agents all run on Merdot 1.0. Faster, cheaper inference means these can run more often for more businesses without the free student tier paying for it.

Merdot was founded in Ahmedabad in 2024 and incorporated as Merdot Private Limited in August 2026. It is a DPIIT-recognised startup that builds and operates its products in-house, with Merdot AI as the assistant at the centre and Merdot Connect, Mail, Sites, Studio and Track around it.

NVIDIA Inception adds the compute and the engineering relationships a company of our size cannot buy on its own. What we build with it goes where it was always going: to India's businesses and students, in their own languages.

What is next

Over the coming months Merdot 1.0 moves onto NVIDIA's training and serving stack, voice gets faster in every language Merdot AI speaks, and comment replies and briefs run for more businesses. Merdot AI stays free for verified students and simple for everyone else.
